I am not trying to knit-pik or whatever but here is my honest thoughts on 3 things. IWC Kickoff: most unoriginal name Ive ever heard. I dont know if I am going to call of work to go because there is no card. The seat liscenses for the whole years ave you like 5$, whats the point?

Re: the seat licenses
The main attraction would probably be that you get (I think) the exact same seat all year, instead of always ending up sitting next to the absolutely terrible group of social refuns we end up sitting near.
Also not every event has to have some clever original name.

Who cares about the name? Sure it isn't very catchy, but it is exactly what it says it is. It's the Kickoff to something different. The show is still 3 and a half weeks away, and they have already announced the main event. Give it some time, geez. The Shadow is dead on when it comes to the seat licenses. You are paying for the same seat for the whole year. Which means you won't have to deal with annoying fans, you'd have the same great view of the matches all year, etc.

Ok but it helps to have a good name, it attracts more fans, if I didnt know IWC id say the event title sounds corny and wouldnt go. U need a good name to draw new fans in. Kickoff is in football. I guess I see the point of the seat liscenses, but I had one other years and you saved alot more money. Im not going to buy seats for the whole year when If I missed one event, I wouldve saved more money not buying the seat liscense. I just think whoever was in charge of that couldve pitched it better, like buy 7 show tickets get one free. That sounds better than paying $20 a show when you are paying in advance

Ok but it helps to have a good name, it attracts more fans LOL. There are no "new" fans being attracted. It's 2010, not 2000. Anyone who's going to an IWC show for the first time is likely already a wrestling fan and isn't going to care about the name.

ya thats a huge announcement, especially if you dont live anywhere around there.
I dont kno man, I think there are always new fans especially with all the Cena fans. Plus, more than 95% of wrestling fans dont even know about the indies so there are always new fans and a name could really turn someone off. I have always believed that the package and look of a product is more important to sell the product than even the actual product. Just like if a girl is hott I want to get with her, even if her "product" is spoiled and shes a bi*ch. Just like things with shiny wrappers at the store catch your eye and sell more. A name is important with anything. I am involved in music and I know that If you do not have an original catchy name that people will remeber, you will have much more trouble acheiving success. For most people its all about the look and name and not what the product actually is. Whatever, its not that bad anyway, just some quick thoughts I had. I just am thinking someone couldve thought of a better name than Kickoff. For some reason it makes me feel like wrestling is inferior to football. There is no football events called bodyslam or anything to do with wrestling. I am also just kinda worried about the way IWC will change. Plus wrestling runs off creativity, intelligence, interesting storylines and things that draw you in to come to and come back to shows. Who thinks up the name "Kickoff"? I am going to the wrestling event "Kickoff". Sounds unprofessional and like there was no effort put into it. Ive never had a problem with any name before but I just think it sounds stupid, but dont get me wrong its not gonna bankrupt the company.

has anyone read the story behind Shiima vs. Demarco 2? Here it is:
"DeeeeeLicious" Jimmy DeMarco and Shiima Xion collided on Saturday December 12th for the IWC World Heavyweight Championship. Both men went through hell throughout the course of the match, taking their opponent and their own bodies to the limit.
DeMarco's head, neck, and back struck the ringside guardrail. Referees, wrestlers, and live event staff attempted to check on DeMarco's condition, but Xion put an end to that by diving onto all of them with a Cancun Tornado from the top rope to the floor.
Xion grabbed the microphone and IWC Championship belt and demanded ring announcer Chuck Roberts announce him as the IWC World Heavyweight Champion and winner of the bout. But Roberts refused. Instead, he announced himself as the new owner of the International Wrestling Cartel and in turn, would officiate the remainder of the match since all referees were incapacitated!
Minutes later, DeMarco nailed his signaure C4, and the match was over. Jimmy DeMarco was the new IWC World Heavyweight Champion. The match has been called the greatest match in the history of IWC.
Thats not a very good description of the greatest match in IWC. The match was full of false finishes and devestating moves but there is only like 3 mentioned here. Vendetta's run in wasnt even mentioned. So if was a new fan who read this and thought this was the greatest match, the match doesent sound that great from what was written so why would I want to see any of the matches from IWC..... what was the point of even writing it?

btw, im just thinking of the success and growth of IWC. This is constructive criticism that I feel strongly about so dont take it as a complain fest. This message board is a ghost board neway so im not like trying to trash IWC to nebody just giving some thoughts to improve

I wrote that. I wasn't really trying to describe the match in detail, because if I had to describe every near-fall, every great moment, etc, it would be the longest article this side of Joe Dombrowski's results. I was simply giving the reader a reason to understand why there is going to be a stipulation and special guest referee.
Also, the big announcement was CCAC. It's a really nice venue, in my opinion, and lots of great IWC matches and moments happened there.
Also... where have you been Shadow?!

Ya i guess that served its point then sorry. I am a big IWC fan and I dont really care about where the events would be held, i think the announcement was overhyped. No one wants to set thier hopes high for a big announcement and then be let down, it shouldve just been announced in my opinion. But, that is just my opinion and thats all. Im not sure if I should be writing this on a message board because im trying to give the leaders of IWC my opinions on how to better the product. Whatever just pointing out some of my thoughts, but everything else in IWC is great and the best promotion ever. I appreciate the great work and time you put in Jesse to all of wrestling and the website is nice. I know you do it cause you like to and that is awsome
