Are we gonna have someone jump all over the Pittsburgh legends show like Brad does for Franklin now? If so, I vote for the following legends: Kim Chee Barry Horowitz Skinner Iceman Parsons Firebreaker Chip

So the August 1st show is a definite go? Thank god. My friends were telling me to find out, so I'm glad someone else asked! I really hope they can get Bret Hart! Ahhh. I'd die.. I nearly did when N~Con announced it at NOL.

On the RVD thing: Last interview I heard from him, he was taking bookings, but only to people that could "afford him". We've seen some big names on these shows. I'd imagine RVD would be a walk in the park in comparison to Ric Flair.
Skinner. Isn't he still running the FCW in Florida for WWE?

brad, no one is giving you anything. you need to take a chill pill and not let it get under your skin at the drop of your name.

I want to lock all of the talent down first.
We may or may not have RVD or Bret. At this point, RVD isn't too keen on travelling except for a lot more cash than I am willing to pay.
These were two names I was working on, and there are plenty of others I am finalizing.
There will be 5 legends, so consider it a mini legends event.
Thanks

Well this is an overreaction if I ever saw one.
Did you call or email me so we could discuss this?
The only person that could ban anyone is me. I did click on the profile, as I suspected someone in particular was that person who likes to constantly rail on myself personally through the years. At that point, since I am so computer literate, I may have mistakenly knocked them out. (I find it telling how bad I am on computers that someone who JustinRick says is Mentally Handicpped does a lot better job than I do surfing the internet). I did that to Frown or Ken (can't remember who) one other time not that long ago.
All they have to is sign up again, and they will be fine.
I guess the larger problem I see here is the drama. I've never once come on and knocked people for having an opinion, nor has any of the people that work for me. I may not agree with an opinion, and will post why, and I will also post when I feel people comment out of school or with little knowledge, which happens a lot, but I never attack a person, or ban them for that matter.
In my honest opinion, the people that claim this board is a parody are the ones that just look for excuses when people don't agree with them. The people that come on here on generally positive about IWC. If someone is negative about something, they will be quick to defend them if they don't agree. Do you know why? They are FANS of IWC. Sometimes, however they can be overzealous. I often think of the move High Fidelity, where Jack Black, John Cusack, and Todd Louiso were at their record store. They are perceived as snobby because they think they know more than anyone else about music. And they often mistreat others because of it. I think that happens from time to time on our board, and its a problem. Someone like Brad just posts who he wants to see, and people attack him. People need to realize that not everyone knows as much about wrestling as you do.
But if someone disagrees with a negative comment that a person posts, on any board, that person is quick to simply dismiss the board as a parody instead of reevaluating their opinion.
I guess the bottom line is, as I've gotten older, I've been dealt a lot of cards that have been a lot more serious than the wrestling business. People take things to heart and get so worked up, and its just wrestling. Enjoy it for what it is.

It looks as if the ban has been lifted.
Much of my frustration (and this happens every for year for the Legends show too) is working around the other people who try to sponge off the Legends by serving as agents or bookers, and just talk to the legends myself.
Some, I have a good relationship with, so its no issue. Others, it takes them to work for me before its resolved. For example, I was told Bret was good to go. Period. Then I was told I needed to send a sizable downpayment, to which I replied, 'No. He has worked for me before why should I have to send a downpayment." My issue wasn't the money, it was the fact that the payment had to be sent to the booking agent instead. So you know he is taking some of that bread. I don't think that's right, personally, so I told him I woud no longer be interested in booking Bret. In 2002, I realized, closer to the event, that TWO people sponged off my booking, and each took a sizable amount. To me, Bret is the star, it should go to Bret. Again, just my opinion. For RVD, I was given different prices at different times, then told he wasn't interested to fly this far. I have a good relationship with Rob from past Autograph signings I have set up for him (and, took no cut). Nash was another one, as the same guy gave me 3 different prices in 3 days.
Its ultimately my fault for not keeping a good phone book, which I admit, but damn is it a pain in the butt to book people sometimes!!

Thanks N~Con, Your right I usually just post about wrestlers I would like to see at your shows. I am no dummy when comes to wrestling facts and history or how things work in the ring. But I will admit I do not know what it cost to book a certain star such as Bret Hart! Or dealing with there agents and them stealing there money! I guess I just want people to stop bashing me on every post I make, or which show of yours I like! I know I don't know everything about Pro Wrestling especially when comes to Ring Of Honor and The Indy scene because I don't get to see them that much! If I make a request to see a wrestler, someone always has something to say about it! But when they make a request, I never say one bad thing about there requested wrestler! I just hope that we can all get along on here and enjoy the great IWC Wrestling action that we all love! No matter who we like or dislike! Because as you said its Pro Wrestling enjoy it for what it is!
