Sarge is a good replacement IMO. My only wish is that he was replacing Greg Valentine(no disrespect to Mr. Valentine, he was on the show last year and I would love to see Lawler live).

Two quick things:
1. With Jerry, he was pulled by the WWE. Its very hard to book WWE stars this close to Mania, but we originally were given the okay. He was pulled two days ago.
2. Greg is, was, and will be on every year for one major reason: A few years ago, the sponsors decided to go with another promoter. That event was a disaster, and only a couple of the wrestlers advertised were actually booked. The promoter was less than reputable. Greg was one who did show up, but did not get paid. He then said to the group thats the reason why you have someone like N~Con Connors running this event. So he went to bat for me, and for that I will always be grateful.

I'm happier with Sgt. instead of Lawler too.
Now, just hoping my kid's program is done in time that day to make the show. About an hour and a half away for me.

Thats awesome that "The Hammer" showed up and did the show after what happen that year! And the man didn't even get paid! I have always respected him, but that takes my respect for him to a new level!

N~Con You just brought back horrible memories of that CCW "Legends" show. I wrote a review in my livejournal about it that I just re-read....I don't think CCW ran another show after this disaster. I remember the following year, N~Con brought all the legends to the ring at the start of the show and said something to the effect of "See all the people advertised are here." Some people who were sitting around me were confused, but I knew exactly what he was talking about. I would be amazed if Greg Valentine was the only one to stick up for you.... I did a search and can't believe this official review is still up: www.wrestlingfigs.com/inner2.php?id=2442&page_id=1

WOW I remember reading about this on "The Board" but I never realized it happened so close to home. That's incredible that someone would be that greedy to act that way.
