Those that know the least tend to share their opinions the most.
And yes, the character that Dr Wrestling plays at the shows is different than the person I speak to via IM. Just like most are.
And to answer your question, there is a difference when people just have a N~Conal IM conversation vs someone rapid fire shooting one question after another. Try to talk to me via AIM and see how it goes.
Again, its cool, I recognize you won't understand how you can act. I didn't either when I was your age.

Personally, I've talked to N~Con online some, not alot, but enough, and he always shot from the hip, unless it's about an angle that hasn't evolved yet...and in that situation, I personally want to be surprised.
I also agree that you can't believe most of what you hear, unless it's from an involved party.
N~Con, will you attend the ROH show??

While I would like to attend, other than a one month period in July of 2008, I have been 24/7 at my job since the day after Call to Arms Night 2 in 2007. Regrettably, its too hard to get out there. My next Pittsburgh show, unless something changes, will be Super Indy 2009.
I should be in Philly on the 28th of Feb. and 1st of March though, since its close to me.
Thanks

N~Con Well for one unless you tell me not to tell anyone what you tell me i'm telling people, and i've never encountered anyone who thinks differently. I've talked to reliable sources that say that you definitely don't approve of the "character" that drwrestling plays. Plus, I definitely act differently in person then I do on the internet. I act like I do on the internet because try acting a different way that I do when absolutely no one is on your side. Not to sound like a super mark but N~Con, i've heard some things from reliable sources about you that you probably don't want me or others to know. I can be reached on AIM under stylesclash516 (bet you couldn't have guessed that).

And even if you heard them from what you perceive as "reliable sources" they most likely arent true. The one thing I recognized very early on in running a wrestling promotion is that no matter what opportunities you offer people, there are those that simply don't like the boss, or at least like to bitch about them when things aren't going their way. Its the way it is, and the basis for what has recently and will be happening in IWC.
And also remember a lot of people like to mess with those who are naive enough to believe what it is said.
If you want to ask me about any of these supposed things, IM me...i bet you can guess what my AIM is.
Otherwise, stick with wrestling talk. Once again, as it happens so many times on this and any other board, it breaks down into stupidity. This time, I am one of the guilty parties. And try not to be so defensive.

Wow, I'm not really sure how to respond to most of what I've read in this thread but since my name was mentioned I'll try to respond. I don't play any "character" at any show so I'm not sure what is meant with that comment so I'm not going to even attempt to respond to it. As far as "defending" N~Con, I think Styles Clash needs to realize that I was only explaining that people can talk to N~Con online and I' not sure why you would expect me to automatically try to take jabs at N~Con or IWC in this thread.
Styles Clash, your comment about saying "surprise" when someone doesn't show up at a show I can respond to, this is indy wrestling and despite what any angle will say there's no contracts and quite frankly, I'm not surprised when someone no shows at IWC or anywhere else for that matter. That being said, I don't think it's unreasonable to be less than happy if you pay $20 to see someone wrestle and they don't show up and I'm sure N~Con isn't happy when a wrestle doesn't show up because it doesn't make IWC look good. I will be the first one to say that people should get what they pay for and what's promoted but this is indy wrestling so it's not always possible.
That being said, it's a little ridiculous that you have "inside sources" about wrestling and I'd hope within a few years you can realize that there's more important things than wrestling. I'm not trying to offend or insult you, I just think that you need to put a little more thought into what you post on the board.

Can I/we bring this back to the original topic....the ROH show going on on 3/20? Sure, I can't wait to see who the high profile talent is going to be. Probably Christopher Daniels and/or Paul London making his return. I'm hoping for a NOAH guy.

I hope Austin Aries is there, man I really like his work. Delirious, Brian Danielson, Jimmy Jacobs, Nigel McGuinness, Briscoes, Davey Richards, Hero, and Castognoli would all be markout worthy for me.
Also, what is everyone's opinion about Flair working with ROH??

Also, what is everyone's opinion about Flair working with ROH?? For one, Mark Briscoe is injured and Chris Hero is in Japan. Austin Aires will be there. Ric Flair is unnecessary unless ticket sales were low.

DG is gone from ROH shows according to PWInsider: Just to make a note, my information about that was straight from one of the DG representatives, and no one else. Also, NOAH doesn't have any shows after March 5th, so Hero should be available.
