Professional wrestling icon Walter "Killer" Kowalski suffered a heart attack late on Friday. According to a statement issued through Kowalski's wife Theresa, Walter was revived, placed on life support, and transferred from the nursing facility where he has been living to an area hospital. Walter was said to be doing better last night but is still being assisted by medical equipment and is in the Intensive Care Unit in serious condition. I saw this on a wrestling site thought I should post it on here. In-case some people didn't know he was ill.
Thanks, Brad

From killerkowalski.com/ In an effort to clear up rumors, speculation and reports on the condition of Walter "Killer" Kowalski we want to give everyone an accurate update on the wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer. For the past few years, Walter has been an active part of Killer Kowalski's Pro Wrestling School and the Chaotic Training Center. He has been present at nearly every Saturday class and helped us host classes with Dr. Tom Prichard, Charlie Haas, Tommy Dreamer and others. He has continued to be a great resource for all of our new and experienced students. In mid-March, Walter experienced a situation where he was, in fact, admitted to a local hospital for treatment on his knees. Since that time, Walter has spent time at home, in the hospital and at rehabilitation centers in order to improve the condition of his knees. Currently, Walter, his doctors and his family are determining the best course of action for Walter - rehabilitation, surgery, continued rest or a combination of these treatments. Walter is fully coherent with the hopes of a recovery soon. While his knees are hurting, his spirit and energy are as strong as ever. He has been joking with the nurses and aides in recent weeks, showing them the famous (or infamous) Killer Kowalski personality. In the next few months, we will have updates on Walter for all of his fans over the years. In the next few weeks, we will have exciting news on some fundraising events we will be organizing for Walter - in order to help him with his ongoing treatment costs. Walter and his family ask that all media and private inquiries, shows of support, encouragement, information on fundraising, comments and questions go through his school. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guess I was wrong-From Jim Ross' blog... Author: J.R.
Title: Walter "Killer" Kowalski reportedly has passed away.
*I received an email this morning from long time wrestling fan Diane Devine who was informed that Killer Kowalski passed away early Saturday morning around 2:15 a.m. Killer has been in a coma for quite some time after suffering a heart attack and other ailments that severely affected his brain function. Until mid week, amazingly Walter's vital signs were strong even though the doctor's had discovered the severe brain damage. Sincerest condolences to the Kowalski family.
