Stolen From The ROH Boards:
It never ceases to amaze me how the population of wrestling fans changes so frequently. Sometimes it seem that almost every male in this country was a wrestling fan one time or another. But it also seems that the average tenure of a wrestling fan is a couple of months. Even the people who are supposed to be the serious wrestling fans like the internet crowd or the people who come here to the IWC board don't seem to stay with it too long. Consider the IWC board as an example. Just look at who were members in July and see how most don't post here anymore. I would bet that if we could take a snapshot of this board a year ago and studied the posters names we would be stunned how many of those names are unrecognizable or distant memories.
So recognizing that we have a host on new "regulars' here it is time for a people's post for us to learn more about the current generation of contributors. The purpose of the People's Posts are for us to become more familiar with those whom we exchange opinions. We usually ask for a little personal info in these and then a personal opinion or two. Well somebody did the age thing and the geographic thing recently. So let's ask a couple of old favorites. You need not answer all the questions.
1)What is the origin of your board name? Why did you select it?
2)What is your current occupation or status in life?
3)Offer one suggestion to IWC to help it improve its business.
4)Name one IWC personage(wrestler or otherwise - past or present)that you especially admire

1)What is the origin of your board name? Why did you select it?
My last name is Shook, and I had the nickname Shooker for awhile then it evolved into Shookerdo
2)What is your current occupation or status in life?
I'm a student at Keystone Oaks High School
3)Offer one suggestion to IWC to help it improve its business.
Just keep having outstanding shows with tons of entertainment.
4)Name one IWC personage(wrestler or otherwise - past or present)that you especially admire
I'm going to go with Tracy Smothers, just because he has so much knowledge of the biz and from what I heard he loves to pass it on to rookies.

I really am on and off with the board, I don't know why. It's not that I stop watching wrestling.
1)What is the origin of your board name? Why did you select it? it's my name haha.
2)What is your current occupation or status in life? I go to school at Edinboro and really want out of college all together, when I'm home I am a dishwasher..
3)Offer one suggestion to IWC to help it improve its business. More local talent vs. super indys/legends to put over the local talent.
4)Name one IWC personage(wrestler or otherwise - past or present)that you especially admire... Shirley Doe, not a physical specimen by any means necessary, probably one of my favorite brawlers ever, has technical skills to boot, passion for the business equal to no other.

ooo...this is fun 1) Supreme. Alot of people think it's from the former XPW wrestler Supreme....no such relation. It's a nickname I've had for a while. My friends and I were goofing around one day and he comes up to me and says, "What's the big deal?" I say, "I'm the big deal". So we get to giving me all these names...."You are truely a Supreme being" says somebody...it stuck. 2) Poor college student. 3) Bring in Super Dragon. 4) N~Con Conners. I really respect the guys for what he does and the work he puts in. I know it's not easy sometimes and maybe he doesn't get the credit he deserves. I admire him most for entertaining the fans.

1)What is the origin of your board name? Why did you select it? JTM is the shortened version of Jesse The Mark, my nickname.
2)What is your current occupation or status in life? IWC Webmaster and convenience store clerk
3)Offer one suggestion to IWC to help it improve its business. Offer cash to your web crew LOL. Seriously, IWC's last 2 shows were outstanding and are up there with alot of other indy shows I've seen. Keep continuing the trend. It seems you've found your core audience with the Call to Arms 2 crowd and it needs to be capitalized on.
4)Name one IWC personage(wrestler or otherwise - past or present)that you especially admire Everybody in the locker room/backstage. They all do something I've dreamed about for years and it's something to be admired.

1)What is the origin of your board name? Why did you select it? Screeching Weasel is one of my favorite bands, so it came from that. I couldn't really think of anything else at the time.
2)What is your current occupation or status in life? Student at Pitt looking forward to graduation in April.
3)Offer one suggestion to IWC to help it improve its business. Advertise. You could have the best product in the world but if potential fans have no way of finding out about it there will never be any real growth. My friends and I started going to Steel City Wrestling in 97 or 98 because of a commercial during Raw, and 7 years later I'm still going to N~Con's shows.
4)Name one IWC personage(wrestler or otherwise - past or present)that you especially admire? All of them I guess, they all work incredibly hard to entertain.

(4) GLENN SPECTRE. no real reason, just really enjoy his dedication and performances. as for people leaving the board, i belive the number of posts pick up and drop off depending on how close a show is.

1)What is the origin of your board name? Why did you select it? Originally, my nickname was Porcelain Doll. My friends gave me that nickname because I'm pretty light skinned and I reminded them of an actual porcelain doll After awhile, I got sick of being compared to a doll, so I shortened it down to “Porcelain.”
2)What is your current occupation or status in life? Senior at Franklin High School/aspiring photographer.
3)Offer one suggestion to IWC to help it improve its business. I can't seem to think of anything. Just keep doing what they do.
4)Name one IWC personage (wrestler or otherwise - past or present) that you especially admire. I admire them all.

1)What is the origin of your board name? Why did you select it? --I graduated with top honors from Worst Internet Username University and I was given this nickname. My real name is Dr. Kenneth Noisewater. 2)What is your current occupation or status in life? --Right now I'm sitting down. I work for a large corporation in Pittsburgh. OR, I'm a backstage IWC insider or a camera guy, depending on what story you hear. 3)Offer one suggestion to IWC to help it improve its business. --A little more long-range planning with storylines for the local guys, and something that was already mentioned -- get the local guys into matches with the super indy guys. The local guys that can actually do it, that is. If a great series of matches results, there will be more buzz about IWC on the net, which honestly is where you're going to make your tape/DVD sales. 4)Name one IWC personage(wrestler or otherwise - past or present)that you especially admire --Jeff Gorman

1. Well I use Stylesclash for a lot of things, as Styles is one of my favorite wrestlers right now.
2. I'm working 2 part time jobs, and although I'm pretty well off, I want badly to become a wrestler and am on my way to trying that.
3. Just keep establishing homegrown talent and putting on first class shows
4. Chris Daniels (if he counts). He's truely made indy wrestling special and I hope he gets his chance to shine with TNA before he goes.
