I put 250 on the Steelers last week and they almost blew it for me. This week my money is going on the Patriots... Last time these two teams went at it, the Patriots had 4 starters out. But this time around, the Steelers are going to taste defeat in the playoffs once again and all of the little Steeler fans will crap all over their Pittsburgh team like Steeler fans have a penchant for.... My 150 this week is being put on the 3 point favorites, the Patriots.... Let's face the facts. If the New England defense can confuse and shut down a Payton Manning offense, by this time the Patriots know how to shut down a rookie by the name of Roethlisberger. -Mick

Listen, it's not my fault that I call it how it is. So jeer and castigate me all you want, it cannot change the predestined course that the Steelers are on. The Patriots are once again a well oiled football juggernaut and it's going to come down to who has the better offense. And in high stress, important games I would bet every cent of mine that Tom Brady is going to lead a more solid offense than Roethilsberger can... Don't get me wrong, I think Roethlisberger is an extremely good quarterback and he's probably going to be considered one of the greatest ever if he keeps up what he's started in his ROOKIE year. There's no shame in losing to the Patriots. -Mickey Gambino

If you want to make money you got to bet on the sure thing. In gambling, there is no sure thing.

With Mickey Gambino, gambling is always a sure thing.... As I have proven with tonights game!.... Unfortunately, I had to watch the disappointment of failure creep across my family's face in the 4th quarter and my victory was not as much fun as I had anticipated.... But once I get my money I'm sure I'll feel a little bit better.... Here's a tip.... If you make a SuperBowl bet, put it on the Patriots. They're the team of the early 2000s. A dynasty. -Mick

If you make a SuperBowl bet, put it on the Patriots. I'll go so far as to say you're an idiot if you don't bet on the Pats. Sadly this is what happens when your coach plays not to win, but to minimalize the margin of loss. FG at 4th and goal when down by 14 = not challenging your offense to win. That's just how NFL coaches are these days. It doesn't reflect as poorly on them.
