gotta go with the x-box. love the quality of games, but there is a lack of quantity compared to the playstation. and i love the little extras like the controller cord with the break-away feature that keeps you from pulling the whole unit off a shelf.

I like my PS2, but the break away thing is cool cause someone always walks by and pulls my ps2 off the shelf.

XBOX Baby! All of the ported games from PS2 and Gamecube look 1 bazillion times better and the controller is better as well. Don't forget about Halo, the upcoming Fable, and Ninja Gaiden!

Yes Fable is going to be the sweetest game in history and this is coming from a man who only plays sports games

Sega Genesis. Hands down, no competition.
Newer stuff, I loved my PS2 until it fell off the damn shelf and broke. I enjoy my new Gamecube alot too.

I have an XBox and when it got fried by lightning (along with my comp and TV) I replaced it with another XBox, so I guess I'm satisfied. I like the controllers better and I definitely like the hard drive versus memory cards.
As for old school, give me an NES with Super Tecmo Bowl and I'm game. That being said, wrestling-wise, Fire Pro for Saturn (import) was the crap. Lost many a night playing that.

Sega Genesis. Hands down, no competition. Yep, I was obssesed with the first Sonic game. Now it's PS2, I think the X-Boxes are a piece of junk.

I like playing games on computers more then any system, but if I had to pick one I'd go with PS2. I'm also really looking forward to the PSP (Playstation Portable)
