I'm saying 00's because of what I mentioned in a post before, that pop/punk craze.I don't even know why they call it 'punk'.It really isn't punk, punk is the Misfits, the New York Dolls,Generation X and the Ramones.Simple Plan definately is NOT punk.

The 90's had the worst decade of music...especially during the late 90's when they had the "boy band" explosion. That was a total nightmare! I still get the chills just remembering the horror of the boy band madness.

teh 80's hands down the upmost worst decade for music. hair bands, new wave and too too many one hit wonders that had hit singles that sucked.

true, the 80's did have some pretty bad music, but I think the 90's had worse. The 90's had the annoying dance club/skating rink songs that drove people nuts. That's what I remember most. Also, the 90's was "Beatlemania" all over again.

...what's wrong with the Beatles?
I'm picking none of the above, because the 60s were awesome, the 70s were even better, the 80s has the kitch classics, and the 90s reminds me of better times, like listening to "Basket Case" by Green Day when I first started listening to B94.

What's wrong with Limp Bizkit? ??It was them,Korn and POD that really got rap metal on it's feet(actually Faith No More started it with 'Epic' back in 1989).They took their genre of music to new heights.Limp Bizkit and all the other rap metal artists were a welcome alternative to boy bands.

...what's wrong with the Beatles? Nothing. I like the Beatles. I was just comparing Beatlemania to the 1997-1999 boy band madness. It was almost the same thing. Screaming little girls crying at the sight of their presence, thousands upon thousands gathering in Time Square, the extreme obsession and devotion, and making those who couldn't stand those annoying groups wish they would jump off a friggin cliff. true, but teh early and mid 90's had all teh good stuff, pearl jam, NIN, nirvana, smashing pumpkins. Now that was my type of music. I loved listning to NIN, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumkins, Eve 6, No Doubt, Collective Soul, etc...I still do.

How bout NO. They all suck, rap metal died a quick painless death, and the music business is all the better for it. How dare you compare the awesomeness of FNM to crap like Fred Durst, Jon Davis, and those christian pansys in POD.

The 90s sucked the most. 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s all rocked. Yes I do listen to 50s music, and you know I listen to all the classics like Frankie, Dino, Louie Prima, Juilius Larosa... The 80s were the best. I love new wave, and late 70s and 80s punk was the best. The whole half end of the 90s sucked bad for music.

Actually, rap metal is still alive. If you haven't noticed,Korn released Take A Look in the Mirror not too far back.I aacidently forgot the best group of them all,Rage Against the Machine.Rage is still being played on the radio today. In addition to rap metal, the 90's saw a grunge and industrial explosion that brought NIN,Orgy,Smashing Pumpkins,Nirvana,Soundgarden,Alice in Chains and Ministry into the spotlight.

Honestly, it boggles my mind to hear ANYONE that thinks music of today is good. It's VERY few and far between.......
