I just can't stand rave guys sorry. Especially his shining wizard which myself and alot of people call the * rusted wizard*. Another thing is I think he was way too stiff on fabulous.

I was not that impressed with Rave in his debut match. However I would like to see him in a few more matches before I make a final decision on him.

I'd love to see Rave again but I really want to see Nate Webb.

I've never seen Rave live, but I did watch an awesome match with him vs B boy on a CZW tape. Nate Webb I could basically care less about. I have however talked to Jack Evans recently and he expressed interest in working with Amazing Red. I know Red no showed last time, but if it could be booked Red vs Evans would be a show stealer for sure.

Well yeah, I suppose if you think Rave is great then Nate Webb is right up your alley. Hey now, whats wrong with Nate Webb? He could get over like Huss did on his first time in. I have however talked to Jack Evans recently and he expressed interest in working with Amazing Red. I know Red no showed last time, but if it could be booked Red vs Evans would be a show stealer for sure. I'd hate to see Jack Evans come in. He may be a nice guy or whatever but he's nothing but a flippy kid. He's good for Homicide to squash and that's about it. Amazing Red... MEH!

Agreed on both counts. Unfortunately (and this is not so much a knock on N~Con as an observation), N~Con seems to attempt to book workers that have a lot of internet buzz. Sometimes it works well (IWC being one of the first places to get Punk/Cabana/Hero besides IWA-MS), sometimes not so much.

I have fond memories of watching Hero -vs- Orion, Hero -vs- Hentai, and Hero -vs- Marconi down at the old 'Plex. Who are some guys with internet buzz that you'd consider not working out? Josh Daniels not included.

I wouldn't have even listed Daniels, since he's only had one match and with time, could maybe get over. I was thinking more along the lines of BJ Whitmer and Matt Stryker, two guys who put on solid matches every time out, but never got over and were for the most part ignored by the crowds.

Yea I know, but it would be sweet. I already have all of his best ofs so I don't need any more Curry Man.

So order a New Japan tape. It's not going to happen in the U.S. and if it does, it ain't gonna be for IWC. Well, he just did it in LA for NJPW-USA against El Samurai. I wouldn't have even listed Daniels, since he's only had one match and with time, could maybe get over. I was thinking more along the lines of BJ Whitmer and Matt Stryker, two guys who put on solid matches every time out, but never got over and were for the most part ignored by the crowds. That seems to be the N~Con for Whitmer and Stryker everywhere. At least Stryker didn't get the "DIE STRYKER DIE" chants like he recently did in ROH. His first time out in Super Indy 2 was pretty awesome so I didn't really count him as being a failure. Although if you put a guy over Chris Daniels AND Ikuto Hidaka in the same night, someone's bound to take notice. Whitmer is a really solid worker and he throws some awesome forearms and has a wicked Exploder. But for some reason, he's just way too bland for my liking. Even with the Prophecy gimmick in ROH and the heel gimmick in IWA. I still wanna know what's wrong with Nate Webb!

Well, he just did it in LA for NJPW-USA against El Samurai. Uhh yeah...umm...what I MEANT was "for a U.S.-based promotion". Yeah.... I still wanna know what's wrong with Nate Webb! Never said there was anything wrong with Nate Webb. Just saying that his style and Rave's style are quite similar, so if you like one, you're likely to enjoy the other. I don't care much for Rave, he's just never entertained me. There's nothing BAD about him. Re: Whitmer. I agree he's great, just saying he got over oh, about zero on a scale of 10.
